The Greeny Smoothie
By far, the most popular smoothie on the Rosie’s menu. It might have even been the second runner up to the almond butter cookie in terms of popularity. I promised I would give you all the recipe, so here it is!
1 frozen banana * this is important, it makes the consistency of the smoothie thick & delicious.
1 handful of spinach – literally, we put a handful of spinach
500mL of unsweetened almond milk
1 tbsp. almond butter – any brand, they all taste the same
½ tsp cinnamon
1 handful of ice – about 4-5 ice cubes
optional: ½ scoop protein powder – we used Vega Vanilla protein – we use half a scoop so that it doesn’t have a chalky taste – it also is technically the standard serving when you weigh it out!
LITERALLY THROW IT ALL IN THE BLENDER ON HIGH SPEED FOR 20-30 SECONDS!
